Hannah in Interview with Dr Bob Hieronimous on 21st Century Radio: Midnight [GMT], 10th March 2013

Hannah will be in interview with Dr Bob Hieronimous on 21st Century Radio on 10th March 2013.

Hannah and Bob first met at the 30 Year Reunion Party celebrating the creation and release of the Beatles classic film Yellow Submarine. Held at Maida Vale Studios in London, back in 1998 and hosted by Hieronimus & Co., Inc. and TVC the event was a coming together of a hundred of the creatives involved in the production of this animated classic and “…Zoh Hieronimus broadcast her program live from the party which was held at the BBC in London and beamed to the States exclusively to WCBM, Baltimore (www.wcbm.com)…” (21stcenturyradio, 2013)

Hannah accompanied her father to the event, the actor and author John Clive, who voiced the part of John Lennon in the film.

Hannah will be talking with Dr Bob about her own memories of her father, his career, as well as playing a bit of her own music and talking about her career as a songwriter and singer.

Musical Plans, Gigs with band and more Radio afoot!!

There’s quite a bit going on over at HC HQ these days. Mostly in the form of musical line-ups (possibilities) as a backing for Hannah and on a LOCAL basis, just as soooo many of you have been asking for, in addition to her London gigs. So please do watch this space….thats Hannah with band.

In other news, gigs and festies going in the diary as we write (check gigs page for more info/facebook events) …

As well as yet more radio for Hannah over in the US, this time an interiew on 21st Century Radio with Bob Hieronimus. Bob was a key supporter of the Yellow Submarine team who made the Beatles classic film The Yellow Submarine, in which Hannah’s father – the actor the late John Clive – played the voice of John Lennon. For many years the involvement of actors and not The Beatles was covered-up, but Bob helped change this and also brought together the whole team for an Anniversary reunion in London, the first of its kind since the film’s making back in the 60’s.

Bob has kindly asked Hannah if she will appear as a guest on his show, where she will talk about her Dad’s career as well as her own career in music. The show will air live on Sunday March 10th…more details soon 🙂

Hannah features in new Music TV Show: StarBird TV

Hannah was recently asked to feature in a pilot for a brand new Music show called Starbird TV. The show features several independent musicians, following their respective journeys to singer/songwriter-dom culminating in an interview and live performance in front of a live audience, at a secret music venue in London.

The show aims to run as an antidote to the plethora of stereotypical and false music formats currently available to viewers. Instead Starbird TV prefers to focus on the truth, rather than the usual doctored, pre-packaged stuff one usually sees scattered across the TV schedules. You won’t find any of your aspiring “celeb’s for the sake of celebrity here” and such persons definitely need not apply! With elements of documentary-meets-The-Tube in its heyday, this promises to be a very interesting development both from a socio-cultural perspective and for the genuine music lover who would like to keep his or her telly ‘real’ given half a chance….

Following Hannah’s own interview with Paul Bailey the show’s host, Hannah performed her new single “Middle of the Bed” taken from her recent EP “Richmond Park Sessions” [Winner of Best New Ep from a Solo Artist: Indie Music Awards 2012] and which is available for purchase here.

The show is currently in post-production and StarBird TV will be launching their new website very shortly but for more details/further announcements please watch this website, StarBird’s page at Facebook and Hannah’s Singer/Songwriter page on Facebook.

A very special thanks goes out to all at Starbird TV for asking Hannah to contribute and for making her feel so at home 🙂 and for their support of Indie Artists everywhere.

My First Google+ Music Hangout with Artists In The Plus: Millions of hits…

A very special thanks to John Voshell and David Santy for walking me through and getting me up on the Artists In The Plus Google+ Music Festival Hangout last weekend 🙂 What they achieved was brilliant for us indie musicians and fantastic for all you genuine good music fans out there.

What Artists In The Plus achieved was a sixty artist showcase of unsigned talent from across the globe, that lasted for two days using Google+ Hangouts. No mean feat I can tell you given my experiences of Battfest earlier this year (more brilliant news on that soon 😉  ) It also featured several Battfest artists including the likes of Sam Batt, Rodney Brannigan, myself, Unity Division, Ilona, Lisa Von H and the 27 Band who were as usual just brilliant and they themselves were up at an un-Rock-n-Roll hour to perform. So well done to them too 🙂 Really enjoyed watching you fellow Battfesterz….hints of next year methinks.

It must also be remembered that these guys at Artists In The Plus and their team were up until all hours (literally coz they were dealing in multiple time zones) and achieved something wonderful. According to early accounts they garnered hits numbering several million over the weekend. So well done guys and thanks for letting me be a part of it. How great to be able to perform to the world through my computer from my living room! Special thanks also to Mr W for his assistance at the British end for sorting the techie side.

Video of my performance where I sang various songs including my new EP will be available shortly on this site. Bring on Google+ I say!!

In the mix…

This is a great show David does, it is tremendously supportive of the up and coming musicians they feature – all of a good calibre (if I say so myself!) and well worth checking out if you are into your new music 😉  David has a great ear…no mediocrity here 😉

Merry Christmas to all at www.brooklandsradio.co.uk

Special Thanks to the Ukaye Ukes, G.O.W.R brothers and friends for their kindnesses to me tonight.

Very special thanks goes out tonight to The Ukaye Ukes and the G.O.W.R brothers and friends who were so very sweet to me this evening; to whom I had the privilege of playing to at the Ukaye Ukes Christmas Party and who had such kindly words to say about my late father the actor John Clive, a Brother Rat. Thank you for such a lovely evening… your warmth and sensitivity make his passing a little easier and was very moving. Thank you. Hannah xxXxx

FINALLY…MY NEW EP: #RichmondParkSessions LIVE on i-tunes!!!

FINALLY…MY NEW EP: #RichmondParkSessions LIVE on i-tunes!!!

Well to say that I am happy (and somewhat relieved about this) would be putting it mildly. Had a minor meltdown at the delay with i-tunes but all is redeemed: My EP is there, its live and available for all :))

Just like to take this opportunity to say a very big thank you to all involved in this project…you know who you are and I thank you prodigiously with much kissing on cheek :))

I trust you will like…and if you do, please support me by buying it, telling your friends and generally helping me get the word out. The amount of work that goes into a project such as this is usually done by a whole record company department. I wipe the sweat from my brow (metaphorically of course!).

Us indie artists need your support people because the doing of this comes out of our own pockets and free time….And comments are always welcome and make us feel warm and fluffy inside 🙂

So all thats left for me to say is:

“And It’s Goodnight from her…and Enjoy!! “
